Our country management team oversees the overall strategy, growth and P&L of the GrabPay business in Malaysia. The team focuses on building strong business partnerships with financial institutions, strategic merchants, regulatory bodies, technology provides and key stakeholders to deliver profitable growth while bringing positive impacts in the local economies.
The GrabPay Analyst is a critical team member to provide insights in support of strategic planning and project execution to drive market growth and identify new opportunities, leveraging internal data capabilities and external relevant research. The role holder will also track and deliver market performance and project progress on a regular basis with efficient management reporting framework, in close partnership and collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES
Understand key business priorities, identify relevant core issues and assess new revenue opportunities
Build presentation to influence senior stakeholders and enable data-driven decision making
Develop strategic framework to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions.
Conduct industry analysis and research with respect to competitive market trends to drive business insights
Manage budget allocation and track cost from initiatives in collaboration with Finance
Drive analysis on country-wide projects and strategic decisions to serve GrabPay customers
Analyse the performance of the company’s business portfolio and identify new opportunities for growth
Understand competitive landscape in Malaysia to drive new growth hacking strategies
Drive project traction to meet milestones and deliverables on time and targets
THE MUST HAVES
A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in financial services, top-tier management consulting or technology firms
Proven track record of senior stakeholder management
Confident in processing and analysing complex data sets using Excel
Quantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, and translating these to actionable business insights
Ability to see the big picture while not losing sight of details
A start-up attitude – willing to work hard to get things done
