Get to know the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience in fast paced body shop or service center/dealership environment, capability to lead a team while building our operational efficiency.
This role is a key contributor to scaling up our body repair capabilities and improving car ownership experience.
The day-to-day activities:
- Manage team of Body Repair Development
- Lead, plan, organize, and implement a continually improving Body Repair Development for all fleets
- Accuracy of all Body Repair technical data and repair techniques
- Lead in identifying and implementing opportunities for operational efficiency
- Standardizing processes/procedures, improve resource management, and developing operational Key Performance Indicators and reporting
- Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality
- Generate weekly reports of activities and findings
- Manage good relationship with body repair vendor
The must haves:
- Candidate must possess min. Bachelor Degree
- Body Shop or Service – 5-7 years industry experience preferred from automotive
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently in limited supervision environments
- Excellent inter-department coordination and resource allocation
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft office
- Good understanding on end to end process of body repair/stamping
- Strong management capabilities and time management skills
- Process / operations experience: strong and proven experience leading field, technical repair or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities.
