- Manage daily/weekly/monthly Ready Mix Concrete (RMX) transportation activities:
- Coordinate with Sales, Production and relevant departments to have daily/weekly truck plan.
- Achieve targeted of truck load size and volume/truck.
- Ensure high truck cleanness and well maintenance before leaving from plants or job sites.
- Achieve targeted of truck minimum loss time at loading points.
- Ensure high availability and efficiency of trucks and equipment
- Ensure optimum operation cost and meet annual budget, especially maintenance activities, min charge, cartage, truck transfer, fix & variable costs.
- Utilise current system to develop new functions to support efficiency operation management, especially safety, productivity, performance controlling.
- Manage, motivate and develop the truck supervisors and drivers:
- Establish KPI and conduct weekly/monthly performance reviews with suppliers and fleet-sups
- Provide the necessary training for drivers and truck supervisors
- Set up and deploy the LOD program.
- Set up a bonus scheme for drivers.
- Build-up, manage and grow the Transportation Section to achieve long term transportation objectives and KPIs:
- Set up Truck / driver management system
- Build up distribution modal to manage transport activities to achieve C2, placing costs as budgeted.
- Set up and deploy the standard of service guideline.
- Demonstrating leadership skills and delegating where necessary and appropriate.
- Up to date and efficient Standard Operation Processes (SOPs) and reports developed by INSEE Beton.
- Ensure discipline of team about SOPs.
