Automation Manager

• Develop and design automation solutions for manufacturing operations, including pre-feasibility assessments and project budgeting.
• Present technical solutions and provide supporting justifications for management and leadership approvals.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments to gather project inputs and ensure timely submission for budget review and approval.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate technical aspects of bidding dossiers, and review engineering-related contract terms.
• Oversee and manage contractors throughout project execution to ensure delivery of quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with relevant departments for volume handover documentation and final acceptance procedures with contractors.
• Contribute to project development planning, status reporting, and timely escalation of issues or roadblocks.
• Participate in company-wide innovation and contribute ideas for corporate development.
• Perform other tasks assigned by senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• University degree in Automation, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in designing or operating automation/digitalization solutions in a manufacturing setting. Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong ability to seek and implement optimized technical and cost-effective project solutions.
• Familiar with food/beverage/cosmetic plant design standards and advantageous knowledge of EHEDG, ISA 95, IEC design codes.
• Experience managing and applying digital systems and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is a plus.
• Proficient in industry software such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and automation-related tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and explanation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Solid planning, organization, and execution capabilities, including team supervision and performance monitoring.
• Fluent in English across all four technical communication skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Demonstrates ownership, leadership qualities, eagerness to learn, and resilience under pressure.
• Driven by a desire to serve Vietnamese consumers and achieve breakthrough goals.
