Assistant Merchant marketing manager position is part of GrabPay & GrabFood Marketing TeamThe role is focusing on how to support drive adoption for GrabPay & Grab Food toIndonesia consumer through best in class of partnership, loyalty platform and marketing offers
Payments marketing is a new team responsible for growing the GrabPay side of the business, which is a big new initiative for Grab. GrabPay handles all cashless transactions and is already one of the largest mobile wallets in Southeast Asia. This new team will be tasked with growing the GrabPay business as a mobile wallet, solving many of the payments problems that consumers and merchants face on a day-to-day basis
At the same time, GrabFood business responsible to grab and lead the opportunity within Indonesia food delivery and becoming first Indonesia consumer preference when it comes to food delivery. It is a trusted and reliable services among Indonesian food lovers
The role will manage merchant operations marketing and serves both GrabPay and GrabFood business in Indonesia.
The team has an eclectic mix of nationalities and comprises of team-mates that have worked across start-ups, fintech companies and top tier financial companies
Get to know the Role:
You will be key frontliner of GrabPay and GrabFood merchant acquiring and acceptance implementation
You will translate Grab Pay & GrabFood within Indonesian consumer plan into actions and operation
The role will support merchant marketing manager, by translating all the strategy of marketing communication and initiatives to drive GrabPay & GrabFoodbrand adoption in Indonesia
Within daily operation, the role will handle day to day challenges and opportunity and collaborate with internal stakeholder related to merchant strategy to enable Indonesia consumer to get the most of GrabPay benefits and becoming No 1 mobile wallet in Indonesia and GrabFood as No 1 food delivery services in Indonesia
The role needs the right combination of details operations and ability to transfer the ideas into “bigger than life” execution
The day-to-day activities:
Be part of the exciting new payments marketing and Grab Food team, helping to drive forward a critical part of Grab’s overall operations in the eyes of merchants and customer
Segment the merchant ecosystem into meaningful target audiences and develop custom tailored marketing campaigns to acquire and engage merchants. Test, analyze and scale the best performing campaigns.
Support marketing manager in leading digital marketing campaigns from inception through post campaign analysis and summary reporting. This hands-on manager will drive lead generation and operating efficiencies through the digital marketing channels while employing strong project management skills.
Provide market operations and insights from competitive offerings to identify best practices and competitive differentiators.
Identify quantitative success metrics and manage to these metrics.
Partner with business development and product teams to identify and solve issues merchant pain points and any merchant operations
Analyze GrabPay & GrabFood merchant marketing spend budget and allocation for future spend allocation.
The must haves:
Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university both overseas or Indonesia
Solid communication skills using Bahasa and english with good bahasa communication with merchants
4- 5 years’ experience in an analytical marketing role, working on B2B lead generation and customer acquisition
Good experience on merchant or partnership marketing from the possible industries such as: market place, bank/payment companies, FMCG (National Key Account or Food Services)
Strong analytical skills and operation problem solving skills
Strong business acumen, be customer focused, team and results-oriented
