As part of the Singapore Operations team, the role sits within the Strategic Projects & Partnerships team. The Strategic Projects & Partnerships team plans & executes top of agenda business projects & partnerships in Singapore, spanning across all business lines (e.g. Transport, Food & Payments)
Get to know the Role:
The role is an impact focused role, focusing on planning & execution of strategic projects, as well as forming win-win collaborations with strategic partners
Examples of strategic projects are incubation of new business models, launch of new product features and cross-vertical initiatives
Opportunity to work directly with Singapore Country Head and senior stakeholders in Singapore and across the region, both internally and externally.
Minimal travel required (<5%)
The day-to-day activities:
Assist in planning of project and partnerships, including partner engagement plans, product launch plans, structuring deals / businesses using data analysis and business modelling
Manage partnerships & special projects under some managerial guidance – including hands-on operations, desktop analysis and pitching/negotiation with strategic partners
Support business teams at various stages of projects; for example - structuring and helping with issue identification and solutioning
Work closely with teams within Grab (e.g. marketing, product) to co-ordinate strategic projects and partnerships
The must haves:
Strong academic track record
Demonstrated ability to problem solve, think logically and execute projects
Experience with hands-on engagement, strong interpersonal / influencing skills
Excellent spoken and written communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations
Strong quantitative ability, including financial / business modelling
Can do attitude - self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Highly adaptable across situations / topics / industries
The good to haves:
At least 5-6 years of work experience
Experience in fast paced sectors such as management consulting, technology, digital media and / or high growth startups driving transformational growth.
Experience in engaging across Asian markets and cultures
Prior experience in entrepreneurship or P&L management
