Get to know the team: 

You will be part of an exciting BD team which is responsible for acquiring, growing and managing the accounts of key merchants for GrabFood Singapore. 

The day-to-day activities:

  • Responsible for defining the corporate sales strategy for GrabFood

  • Responsible for Business Development strategy and engagement programs to maintain merchant and non merchant supply & improve merchant and non merchant relationship

  • Market map and prioritize a target list based on overall GrabFood objectives

  • Work with the Account Management team to develop strategies to increase revenue and cross-sell different product verticals to merchants

  • Work with the different functions within Business Development team and ensure the team can achieve their targets

  • Coordinate with different functions (Country BD, Transport, Marketing, Business Analytics, etc) within the Company to ensure alignment and coherence across business units

  • Responsible for monitor end-to-end deal making/ deal closing both for Merchant and Non Merchant

  • Responsible for developing strong relationships with National key partners that fit into our go-to-market strategy

  • Responsible for evaluating strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analysis

  • Responsible for oversee process of plan, manage, and monitor the result of partnership event/projects

The must haves:

  • Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent

  • An exceptional track record in driving revenue growth

  • At least 5 years' experience in Business Development or Business Management

  • Some experience in Account Management is advantageous

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English

  • Experience in dealing and supporting senior level management

  • Strong analytical and planning skills

  • Ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Having experience in accounts management, partnership, and alliances

  • Great interpersonal skills and negotiation power
