Grab for Business is the B2B team within Grab that helps to simplify business transportation, delivery, food and digital gift vouchers for companies across Southeast Asia. To this end, we are looking for a strong Asst. Manager - Inside Sales in our Grab for Business Indonesia team to acquire, manage and grow an expanding portfolio of 000s of mid-market and SMB customers.

To perform this role well candidate needs to have strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to create and follow SOPs and process flows, sales coaching and training experience, and a track record of exceeding expectations.

The day-to-day activities:

  • This role is based out of Jakarta
  • You will report to the Manager, Grab for Business - Indonesia
  • Leadership : Lead a team of Inside Sales representatives to exceed revenue targets, basis both remote acquisition of new customers and account management of existing customers. Help drive the overall business forward by building and executing the Inside Sales strategy for Grab for Business in Indonesia.
  • Forecasting | Pipeline Management: Work closely with the Head of Sales to forecast sales activity, pipeline management (for new and existing clients) and revenue tracking in our CRM systems and internal dashboards. Ensure CRM discipline is maintained for all accounts and leads rigorously. Be extremely organized, and bring a high level of attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Inside Sales: Ensure clear SOPs for remote sales and account management (Phone, Email, WhatsApp for Business, SalesForce etc.), account portfolio allocation and tracking of daily, weekly and monthly revenue and productivity metrics. Evaluate and monitor the performance of your inside sales reps, while also providing regular performance enhancing training & coaching.
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with internal B2B marketing teams to generate qualified leads at scale from multiple online and offline channels.


The must haves:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) from a reputed university
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years in B2B inside sales (work experience in a hyper-growth startup is a plus). Experience in executing inside sales strategy and settings SOPs / process flows.. Demonstrated ability to run the full sales cycle; from forecasting, lead generation, pipeline management and acquisition to continuous account management of converted inside sales leads.
  • A suitable candidate will have an impressive track record in managing large inside sales teams and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and guide a large team.
  • Communication: Strong and effective communicator with good verbal, presentation and written skills who can verbally and visually articulate their point of view clearly and succinctly.
  • Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) is a must for this role.
  • Good computer skills and comfortable with data analysis (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs / Sheets / Slides)
