Get to know our team:

Regional Demand Planning and Marketing Strategy is a new team housed within marketing, with work spanning across the region (all 8 countries). The team focuses on growing demand efficiently, with projects covering overall strategy, ideation (e.g., optimizing targeted promos, developing innovative approaches), experimentation and ensure growth in the country.

Get to know the role:

Own a functional day-to-day responsibility of user retention and acquisition, while applying expertise to drive high impact initiatives for demand generation in the Philippines.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Analyze market trends to determine optimal demand generation strategy for existing products
  • Own the demand generation for new vertical/ product launches across payments and transport (ie. launching GC Premium in outer cities, or GrabPay via QR code at physical stores)
  • Conduct experiments to test new demand generation initiatives or refine existing campaigns
  • Regularly travel to other countries in the region to gain exposure to best demonstrated practices, and adapt them to PH market
  • Gain deep understanding of Grab's product suite; customize and roll out new products in the Philippines (ie. subscriptions, stampcards)
  • Syndicate recommendations and build stakeholder relationships across functions, verticals and countries (Local and regional marketing, strategy and operations, business heads, product, country head)
  • Coordinate execution and campaign success tracking for all Philippines promos across GrabPay and Transport

The must haves:

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in marketing, F&B, eCommerce, top tier management consulting, technology and/or mobile apps.
  • A degree with good results from a decent university in any discipline.
  • SQL skills highly preferred
  • Primarily driven by quantitative outcome for all decision making.
  • Ability to consistently perform comfortably under pressure in a dynamic, ultra-fast paced environment.
  • Ability to construct & deliver clear presentations to senior company stakeholders.
  • Excellent ability to build consensus & support across different teams/countries.
  • Experience in analysing & quantifying complex strategic issues tied to long-term business growth.
  • Experience in project managing complex, cross-functional projects
