The GfB (Grab for Business) collection team is newly established a little over 4 months ago. The purpose is specifically to cater receivables management of GfB segment of Grab business. Initial process has been established, with implementation on going and monitoring need to be made
Get to know the Role:
- To conduct active daily supervision on the collection team, in a measurable manner, and with analytical support. In addition, need to be able to communicate to Regional Finance and GfB team effectively.
A success factor will be proper execution with clear measurement of improvement and success factors.
The day-to-day activities:
Functional
- Control daily call report of Desk Collection agents/officers, and ensure proper filling of reports as per guidelines.
- Collate data and prepare daily, weekly and monthly KPI measurements.
- Provide analytical assessment of GfB AR quality and position.
- Conduct periodic communication with Regional Finance and GfB teams.
People
- Manage 6 to 8 outsourced Collection Agents/Officers.
- Liaison with Regional Finance and GfB teams.
Customer
- Liaise with clients for problem resolutions and collection activities.
- Conduct meetings, communications and negotiations with GfB business teams.
- Coordinate with ID Finance team for relevant matters relating to collections.
Financial
- Improvement on AR quality, measured through DSO, Collection Rates, and other measurements as defined.
The must haves:
Minimum Qualifications
- S1 from reputable university
- Having experience in leading a team of similar or larger size.
Technical Skills
- Experience with AR Management and collection activities.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Manage people & leadership and creative thinking.
- Proactive and with integrity.
Specific experience
- Experience with AR Management and collection activities.
Overall experience
- Having minimum experience 3 years in AR Management and collection for any business fields.
