Experience:
1. Drive sales force effectiveness and capability improvement
• Collaborating with each ASEAN business leads to understanding their specific team purpose & priorities to develop a clear roadmap of improvement
• Competency frameworks – Own, manage & maintain the ASEAN competency frameworks to Identify training and development needs at all levels across all sales teams
• Work closely with ASEAN countries’ sales capability manager in execution of capability development plans/objectives
• Develop external benchmarking to ensure we reach the goal of providing high standard training programs
2. Sales process optimization
• Own, lead & identify improvement areas of Sales Processes across ASEAN countries
• Own the sales element of the AkzoNobel CSAT survey working with sales leads to improvement scores
• Analyze existing sales processes and identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement standardized sales methodologies and tools to streamline operations and improve customer engagement
3. Driving Excellent Execution through the principles of the AkzoNobel Advance Sales Academy (ASA) Way to Sell
• Manage the full integration of the ASA Way to Sell within the sales functions of the business
• Create and deliver ASEAN ASA Strategy that conforms with Global Commercial Excellence requirements
• Liaise with the Global academy to ensure globally pushed learning programs are coordinated and implemented in a brilliant way
• Maintain an understanding of the specific needs of our multi-channel customer base·
• Act as the point of escalation for all queries and operation decisions related to the ASA Way to Sell and Excellent Execution
• Lead and develop the ASA Steering Group
• Create and deliver ASA Way to Sell programs for key members of Marketing, Shopper and Finance teams
• Manage and report on ASA budget to Sales Leadership Team
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales capability development, training, or sales operations.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive process improvements.
- Experience working in a regional or multi-country ASEAN environment.
- Experience in designing and delivering sales training programs.
- Familiarity with competency frameworks and performance assessment tools.
- Background in coaching, mentoring, or sales enablement.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Exposure to global or matrixed organizations is a plus.
